BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative)

BSCI is a social compliance audit system for supply chains. It mainly inspects whether factories comply with standards in labor rights, working hours & wages, fire safety, occupational health, environmental protection and business ethics. It is an audit report rather than a certificate, proving the factory meets social responsibility requirements of European buyers and prevents child labor, forced labor, discrimination and illegal overtime. BSCI is a mandatory entry requirement for almost all European brands. A valid audit result allows factories to receive European orders, reduces repeated audits from different clients, improves factory management, and lowers risks of penalties, order suspension or delisting.

GRS (Global Recycled Standard)

GRS certifies that products use recycled materials (such as recycled polyester, cotton, nylon) and controls the whole supply chain, including recycled content, traceability, chemical management, social compliance and environmental protection. Products with ≥20% recycled content can be certified; ≥50% can use the GRS logo. GRS is the most authoritative global certification for recycled textiles. It is core proof for brands’ sustainability and circular economy claims. It helps factories enter global green supply chains, increases product added value, meets mandatory requirements of low-carbon & eco-friendly products in Europe and America, and strengthens market competitiveness.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is a hazardous substances safety certification for textiles. It tests hundreds of harmful substances in fabrics, yarns, accessories, dyes and chemicals, including carcinogenic aromatic amines, formaldehyde, heavy metals, allergenic dyes and PFAS. It has four levels based on skin contact; baby products are the strictest Class I. It is the most recognized and strictest textile safety standard worldwide, acting as a “safety passport”. Almost all international brands require OEKO certification to ensure products are safe for humans, comply with EU REACH, US CPSIA and avoid customs detention, recalls or complaints.

FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)

FSC is a forest sustainability certification. In textiles, it mainly applies to wood-based cellulosic fibers (viscose, modal, lyocell, bamboo fiber) and paper packaging, tags and wooden materials. It proves wood/pulp comes from legal, sustainable and eco-friendly forests with full chain-of-custody traceability. FSC is a key eco-certificate for high-end European and American brands. It complies with the EU EUTR regulation, demonstrates corporate environmental responsibility, enhances brand image, and is widely required in home textiles, apparel and home fabrics.
